LightPath currently operates two facilities, our Corporate Headquarters based in the Research Park at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and a high volume production facility located in Shanghai, China.

Our Corporate Headquarters in Orlando includes a 10,000 square foot, class 1000 clean room for automated manufacturing and a precision machine shop with single-point diamond turning capabilities for quick turn prototypes and complete metrology labs.

In November 2005, LightPath added its second manufacturing location overseas to enable high volume automated manufacturing. This modern facility located in Shanghai, China has 17,000 square feet and over 5,000 feet of clean room. LightPath's Shanghai facility is wholly owned and is fully integrated into LightPath's production and quality inspection programs.

In 2000, LightPath Technologies acquired Horizon Photonics, Inc. and Geltech, Inc., two leaders in the automated production of optical components. Horizon Photonics was well-known in the communications industry for delivering highly integrated optical components using advanced manufacturing technologies. Geltech was recognized in the optics industry for their Precision Molded Optical Lens technologies.
